Comrade Joseph Ewuga, governorship candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the 2023 governorship election in Nasarawa state, has lost his father, late Joseph Bello Ewudun.
The politician and contractor while announcing his father’s demise in a statement he personally signed and made available to Tribune Online Thursday morning in Lafia, said his father will be buried on Friday behind Dunamis church Bukan Sidi, Lafia, immediately after a funeral church service at ERCC number 1 also in Bukan Sidi.
Recall that Ewuga, in the last governorship election in the state, stepped down for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), David Ombugadu, two weeks to the election.
Ewuga who remains the Labour party chieftain in the state, while describing his late father as a disciplinarian called for prayers for his family.
“My late father was a man full of compassion, kindness, a disciplinarian, a community leader. His life was an exemplary one with great values.
“Left to mourn him are his wife, Seven children and other relatives too numerous to be mentioned, He will indeed be missed by many,” Ewuga said.
