Kazeem Olalekan Israel, also known as GANI, has declared his intention to contest for the position of Coordinator of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone D (South-West).
In a statement, GANI highlighted his past experiences and achievements in student unionism, including his service as a former Zonal PRO of NANS and his involvement in various interventions at the Great Ife Students’ Union and NANS.
GANI emphasized his commitment to reviving the culture of participatory democracy in NANS, fighting for affordable education, and ensuring that every student has the power to shape their collective destiny.
He also pledged to take advantage of the collective intelligence of Nigerian students to solve their collective problems.
The aspirant promised to deliver a NANS Zone D that is truly of the students, by the students, and for the students, and to make the zone autonomous while offering genuine solidarity to colleagues across the country.
GANI called on fellow Nigerian students and comrades to join him on his journey to “REJUVENATE NANS” and promised to work tirelessly to achieve his vision.
