Ex-Minister Adegoroye felicitates Segun Oni at 70

Former Minister of State for Transportation, Ademola Adegoroye, has congratulated the former governor of Ekiti State, Engineer Segun Oni, on his 70th birthday.

In a statement personally signed by the former Minister, he praised Oni’s life of integrity, selfless service, and leadership excellence.

He described him as a shining example of uncommon honesty and forthrightness in Nigerian politics.

“On behalf of my family, I offer my heartfelt and warmest congratulations to Engr. Segun Oni on this remarkable milestone. I pray that it marks the beginning of another chapter of robust health, mental clarity, and continued dedication to serving God and humanity with wisdom and joy.

“Throughout his distinguished private and public life, Engr. Oni has consistently exemplified unwavering integrity, leaving an indelible mark of uncommon honesty and forthrightness. I have often remarked that he is an outlier in today’s political landscape, where his brand of politics is a rarity.

“His ascension to the governorship of Ekiti State was a testament to divine providence, rewarding his goodness and demonstrating to the world that a person of unimpeachable character and altruistic intentions can indeed attain public office.”

He further commended Engr. Oni’s contributions to the development of Ekiti State and Nigeria, noting that his leadership and vision have left an indelible mark on the nation.

“As Engr. Oni celebrates this significant milestone, I wish him continued vitality, wisdom, and fulfillment. May this new chapter in his life be filled with joy, good health, peace, and the continued opportunity to serve humanity,” the statement reads.
