Ex-agitators commend PAP boss for peace, development in Niger Delta

The National Chairman of Phase 2 of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Ibena Rufus Salvation, has commended the role of the Administrator of the programme, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, in fostering peace and development in Niger Delta region.

Salvation stated this when he led a delegation of ex-agitators on a solidarity visit to Otuaro, and praised him for his efforts in driving impactful reforms and development that have restored faith and confidence in the programme.

He described the Administrator’s approach as visionary and people-oriented, especially in the reintegration and empowerment of ex-agitators.

Ibena said, “Dr. Otuaro has shown that he is here to work. The progress within this short time is evident. We came to say thank you and encourage you to keep going strong.”

He emphasised that the administrator’s achievements reflect the renewed hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and urged him to align continuously with that vision.

He also advised Otuaro to remain undistracted by negative voices and side distractions, stressing the need to stay focused on the core objectives of the programme.

According to Ibena, PAP remains a beacon of peace and development for the Niger Delta region and must not be derailed.

The visit which has in attendance, the national spokesman Phase 2, Timothy Tensibe and the Phase 2 chairman, Bayelsa State chapter, Dengo Benin, ended with renewed assurances of support from the ex-agitators.

They also pledged to continue working with the Administrator to achieve sustainable peace, empowerment, and economic development across the region.
