Etihad Airways has rewarded loyal customers at the SPAR ‘Shopper of the Month’ draw which took place at the SPAR outlet in Ilupeju, Lagos.
The winner for the month for November 2016 was Dianoj Kurupath Nair, who was presented with a return economy class ticket to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
This is just as the United Arab Emirates airline and Lufthansa Airlines have announced the conclusion of a code share agreement which will start in January 2017, subject to government approval.
While rewarding its loyal customers, apart from the return ticket presented to the ‘shopper’ of the month, Etihad also rewarded 26 other lucky shoppers from Lagos, Calabar and Port Harcourt with mouth watering prizes.
SPAR Reward Card customers who spend N20,000 or more in a month are automatically entered into a draw where they could win a return economy ticket to Abu Dhabi and discounted economy class and business class tickets, plus many more prizes from Etihad Airways.
The SPAR ‘Shopper of the Year’ grand finale draw for the December shoppers will be held in January 2017 with the lucky winner being rewarded with two business class tickets and four-night’s complimentary stay at a leading hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Under the code share agreement Etihad entered into with Lufthansa, the German airline will place its ‘LH’ code on Etihad Airways’ twice daily non-stop flights between its home base of Abu Dhabi and Frankfurt and its twice daily non-stop services between Abu Dhabi and Munich, the biggest city in southern Germany.
