THE president of Al-Hayat Relief Foundation, Sikirullahi Adeko, has disclosed that ethical financial solutions have led to economic development and sustainability for many Nigerians.
This comes as the foundation, an Islamic cooperative society, said it remains committed to ethical financial empowerment to help more Nigerians scale the hurdle of financial incapability.
Adeko also said that the foundation has evolved into a beacon of ethical financial empowerment not only to its 25,000 members across the South West and Kwara State, but also to non-members in the last 28 years of its existence.
According to a statement released as part of the commemoration of the 28th anniversary of the foundation, the president said, “Over the past 28 years, Al-Hayat has remained steadfast in its mission to provide ethical financial solutions and sustainable economic empowerment to its members.”
According to him, the foundation has expanded its operations beyond cooperative financing, making remarkable strides in key sectors like not-interest banking, real estate, medicals and hajj and umrah.
“The foundation has successfully expanded its operations beyond cooperative financing, making remarkable strides in key sectors such as Hayat Trust Non-Interest Microfinance Bank, Real Estate and Property Development, Al-Hayat Medical Centre, Al-Hayat Hajj and Umrah Travels and Tour and Al-Hayat Zakat, Sadaqah and Waqf Foundation,” he explained.
