Epileptic power supply: Firm launches alternative energy for Nigerians

An energy servicing company, Baobab+, has launched outlets to service about 14 Nigerian towns providing them with alternative energy, saying that the launch was meant to ease Nigerians the trauma of energy supply in the country which had become epileptic.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Baobab+, Kolawole Osinowo, said this in his remark, noting that the launch signified the organization’s commitment to providing energy to all households in Africa.

According to him, through the solar power station called Baobab+ Basecharge, the organization has brought an easy and powerful station that can cater for everyone’s needs.

“The solar power station is called Baobab+ Basecharge. It is a high-capacity portable power station that is like having a wall outlet wherever you go. Power fridges, coolers, power tools, medical devices, laptops, and more with this quiet and fume-free solution.

“BaseCharge is easy to use and ready to work right out of the box. It is a fully independent solar generator system. It comes with two variants – Basecharge 600 and 1500,” Osinowo stated.

Speaking on what made BaseCharge different from other solar generators on the market, Osinowo said it is very small and portable and could be carried anywhere and everywhere one moved.

Besides, he said it is a quiet and fume-free solar station which can be recharged from the power source, generator or with the sun using a solar panel, adding that the product, which was launched a few days ago, would mostly serve in Alimosho, Epe, Ikorodu, Badagry, Iwo Road, Oluyole, Sango Ota, Sagamu, Abeokuta, Ilaro, Saki, Oyo, Eruwa, Ijebu-Ode, Akure, Ilesa, Osogbo, Ilorin, Ado-Ekiti, and Ota.

“It is very small and portable. You can carry it anywhere and everywhere you go. It is a quiet and fume-free solar station. It can be recharged from the power source, generator or with the sun using a solar panel,” Osinowo said.
