In a statement issued on Tuesday by the state Police Public Relations, Ebere Amaraizu, stated that the suspect whose name was given as Eze Collins Nwankwo allegedly cashed in to sexually abuse the children on the period the parents of the children left the kids in his house for custody as neighbous each time they traveled out of town.
Amaraizu said: “the suspect committed the act on 28/6/18 and other dates. Victims were later rushed to “c” Hospital Emene for medical attention.”

According to the Police imagemaker, a full scale investigation had commenced into the alleged incident.
“Suspect who is helping the police operatives in their investigations is now blaming his involvement in the crime as act of devil,” Amaraizu stated.
“Devil pushed me into this mess and I regret every of the action I have taken,” the suspect was reported to have said.
Meanwhile, the police authority has advised members of the public particularly parents and guardians to be security conscious on who they leave their children or wards with at home or when they traveled out.
