Enugu APC appoints Nwafor as acting chairman

The leadership of the All Progressive Congress (APC), has appointed Alphonsus Nwafor, as the new acting chairman of the party in Enugu State.

The appointment was made known to Journalists in Awka on Monday, by the National Convener, APC Youth Vanguard, Chibueze Oleka, via the body’s congratulatory message.

Oleka described Nwafor as an outstanding party faithful and leader who has all it takes to bring back the lost glory of the party in Enugu State.

He stated that the former Zonal Vice Chairman of the party in Enugu West Senatorial Zone, who holds a doctorate degree in Political Science, has a deep understanding of the political dynamics of the state, which will galvanize members and restore the party’s position as the most credible alternative in Enugu State.

Oleka praised Nwafor’s leadership qualities, noting that his appointment as Acting Chairman is an attestation to his steadfast dedication and unparalleled commitment to the ideals and values of the APC.

He emphasized that Nwafor’s strategic approach and experience make him well-equipped to steer the party towards greater heights.

The National Convener, highlighted Nwafor’s impact beyond politics, describing him as a renowned businessman whose entrepreneurial spirit and philanthropic efforts have positively influenced many lives.

He expressed confidence that Nwafor’s tenure would be marked by significant achievements that will further solidify the APC’s presence and influence in the state.

Oleka, however, reiterated his full commitment to supporting  Nwafor in his new role, affirming that the APC Youth Vanguard stands ready to work hand-in-hand with him to unify and strengthen the party in Enugu State.
