The Commissioner of Police, Niger State Command, CP Shawulu Ebenezer Danmamman, visited the Sector Commander, FRSC Niger State Command, C.C Kumar Tsukwam on a courtesy visit on Tuesday.
The CP mentioned that the visit aimed to sustain the existing relationship between the two organizations and to address issues related to accidents, traffic management, and the enhancement of the protection of life and property.
He emphasised that no agency can tackle these challenges alone, highlighting the importance of mutual assistance, especially in investigating vehicle-related crimes through sharing vehicle information from the FRSC database and the Police Central Motor Registry (CMR).
The CP stressed the need for state actors, particularly security agencies, to collaborate and work together to control the activities of non-state actors. He expressed a sense of familiarity, mentioning that he feels at home as his wife is an officer of the FRSC.
