Ademola, a protester, has recounted how he got hit by a teargas canister during this #EndBadGovernance protest, which started Thursday, 1st August, 2023.
In an interview with Premium Times, Ademola narrated how they were attacked during the protest at the Eagle square in Abuja.
He said, “As we were protesting and reached Eagle Square, we were still trying to organize ourselves when the police arrived.

Without addressing us, they began firing tear gas directly at us, as if we were at war. Another group of mobile police officers arrived from headquarters and used barbed wire to barricade us.
Even within the barricade, they continued to shoot at us.”
