EMUfest 2017 features 7 young folk musicians

SEVEN up and coming contemporary folk musicians will join the host and convener, Beautiful Nubia, for the 8th annual EniObanke Music Festival (EMUfest 2017) starting on November 3.

Running through November 12, the festival will happen in the four cities of Osogbo, Abeokuta, Ibadan and Lagos with a football game between the EniObanke team and music students at the University of Ibadan, being one of event’s highlights.

Femi Ajayi, who has performed at all editions of EMUfest,  songstress Seyi Ajayi and the Black  Radiance Band, large band of instrumentalists, Mr Hat & the Quodlibet Band, Jojo Bodybeats, Maestroy; Folklore Band and all female group, Asoge, will perform at this year’s EMUfest.

The Osogbo event holds on November 3; Abeokuta November 10, Ibadan on the 11 and the grand finale on the 12 in Lagos.
