Emerhor-led mainstream APC agrees to work for victory of Ogboru, others in Delta

Published by
Ahead of the Saturday’s Governorship and House of Assembly elections, leader of Mainstream All Progressives Congress (MDA), Chief O’tega Emerhor, has agreed to work for the victory of Chief Great Ogboru and other APC candidates in Delta State.
This is coming as a soothing relief, in spite of the intra-party differences, for the Prophet Jones Erue’s camp of the APC in the state.
Emerhor made the declaration on Tuesday at an expanded meeting of the caucus of the Mainstream Delta APC held at Evwerni, Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state.
The Chief Cyril Ogodo-led MDA, which congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election, resolved, among others, to work for the success of all APC candidates in the Saturday polls.
In a communique signed by Chief Alfred Oloko and Mr Awele Van-Nwoko, the party passed a vote of absolute confidence in the able leadership of Olorogun Emerhor OON and the Chief Ogodo led State Exco of the party.
They pledged to continue to support them in the onerous task of leading APC in Delta state to greater heights, just as the expressed gratitude to Nigerians and the 4, 000 vote canvassers for President Buhari.
