Embrace God’s presence in 2018, Pastor Awojide tasks Christians

As Christians continue in their journey of faith this New Year, Vice President of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Pastor E. S. Awojide, has called for believers to rekindle their faith in God.

According to a release by the LAWNA Territorial Press Secretary, Tunde Adebisi, made available to TribuneChurch, Awojide gave the charge in his exhortation at the special service at the National Temple of the church, at Olorunda Ketu, Lagos State.

In the message entitled God’s Promised Presence in the Year 2018, he noted that all Christians needed to benefit from the numerous blessings made available by the Almighty God was to embrace his presence.

“There can be no success in life’s journey without God’s presence. Every step of the year is dark, perilous and full of dangers. It is the promised presence that gives success,” he said.

He warned the people against committing sin, as sinful acts destroy fellowship with God, stating that “God’s presence will destroy the challenges, trials, and temptations and grant joy, peace, hope and unprecedented success in the year, no matter how difficult the year may seem. No whirlwind shall withstand His presence.”

He added that those who sought divine presence should closely study and meditate on God’s word, pray, walk in the Spirit and fullness of the Holy Spirit, and live according to the light of God’s focus.
