The Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oyo State, Oba Samuel Adebayo Adegbola, has expressed excitement over the donation of a library to the L. A. School 1, Oke Oba, Eruwa, by one of the illustrious daughters of the town, Mrs Elizabeth Olufunmilayo Olagunju.
During the inauguration ceremony held last Thursday at the school’s premises, the king said, “This gesture is worthy of emulation; and the advice I can give our daughters and sons in Diaspora is to emulate the good virtue in this woman; and the teachers should make good use of the library and ensure that the books are well kept.”
When asked what motivated her, the donor, Mrs Olagunju, said she was merely following the legacy of her parents, Pa Jeremiah Aderoju and Mrs Felicia Aderoju, who, she said, had unparalleled passion for education.
