Resident Electoral Commissioner, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Oyo State, Barrister Mutiu Agboke
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reiterated that any electorate approaches the polling units without the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) will not be allowed to vote on election dates.
INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Oyo State, Barrister Mutiu Agboke stated this on Tuesday while briefing Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPOs) on electoral procedure at the INEC state office, Ibadan.
Agboke also stated that the sorting out of ballot papers will commence on Wednesday, February 20 in the state.
He also warned all officials who will be on election duties during the National and State elections to reject all forms of inducement, adding that punitive measures will be taken against anyone caught.

The REC also stated that all SPOs should expect to be posted to new locations. He said this is to disrupt any form of connivance any of them would have had with politicians.
He warned that they should be impartial in carrying out their service and that none of them should delay the distribution of materials on the election days.
