KWARA state government has declared February 15 and March 1, 2019, as work-free days.
This was contained in a statement issued by the state Head of Service (HOS), Mrs Susan Oluwole.
The statement reads: “The executive governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, has approved February 15 and March 1 respectively as work-free days for Kwara state public servants.

“This is to allow public servants to exercise their franchise during the forthcoming general elections scheduled for February 16 and March 2, 2019.
“Public servants are therefore advised to conduct themselves in a manner devoid of any acrimony. Work resumes on Monday, February 18 and Monday, March 4, 2019, respectively.”
