The All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for the chairmanship of Abuja Municipal Council and the councillor for the party have won at the presidential villa, Abuja polling centre.
Recall that the centre was won by the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar in the February 23 presidential election.
But in the exercise which witnessed a low turn out of voters on Saturday, the APC won in the two polling units located there.

The APC candidate for the chairmanship election polled 290 votes as against the 132 voted garnered by the PDP candidate at both (PU) 021 and 022.
The APC polled 162 votes in PU 021 and 128 votes in PU 022 while the PDP scored 70 votes in PU 021 and 62 votes in PU 022.
For the councilorship election, the APC polled a total of 273 votes to defeat PDP which scored 151 votes in the two polling units.
