#ElectionResult UPDATE: Obi ends Tinubu’s dominance in Lagos

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, (LP) Peter Obi has defeated the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to emerge winner of the Lagos poll.
As declared by the Lagos State INEC REC, Obi polled 582,664 votes in nine local government areas of the state while Tinubu who scored 541,850 had eleven local government areas to his bag.
The LP candidate, Obi defeated the former Lagos state governor, Tinubu with the majority of the votes cast in the state.
