Election: Kanuri community endorses Bindow, vows to give block votes for APC

AS the count down to 2019 general elections begins to tickings, political groups, associations and parties stalwart are realigning to have an option that will serve and protect their best interest.

Monday morning at the Adamawa State Government conference Hall, Alhaji Usman Modu led a delegation representing thousands of Kanuris who have their voting right in the villages and towns of the state.

While delivery his speech Modu assured Governor Muhammadu Umar Jibrilla (Bindow) of block votes for All Progressives Congress, APC, candidates who are seeking elective positions in the state.

According to him, the APC administration is what is giving everyone in the North East region sustained Peace and security, providing food to everyone as against the background of Boko Haram attacks that send many of them packing into the neighbouring States of Borno and Yobe.

He extolled Bindo’s as one of the best in terms of infrastructural development of roads,schools and hospitals.

“It is when we elect you back we can have the best performance Haven you garner enough experience to lead, I know you can replicate your leadership style with good work, resulting to the consolidation of all round work if we can give you our block votes,” Modu said.

They vowed to embark a door to door campaign for president Muhammadu Buhari and Bindow beginning from this week to ensure their return to office by may this year.

The Chief Imam, NNPC depot mosque in  Yola, Alhaji Ali Abdulrahman said the only option for the people of Nigeria and Adamawa state is to bring back Buhari/Bindow into power, therefore they are consolidating their votes for only APC, no more no less.

While reacting, Gov Bindow reminded them how the past administration caged them out of their own ancestral homes but APC came around to give them a hope and a better future.

He called on them to give maximum cooperation to General Mohammadu Buhari led administration in order to continue the good work he has started.
