The Oyo State chapter of Ekiti State University Alumni Association, has on Saturday, 3rd October, 2020, held its election and new leadership for the chapter emerged.
The election which was held at the Ayo Labiyi Hall of Lagelu Grammar School, Oremeji, Ibadan, ushered in new set of executives members, within a very fair and peaceful environment.
Comrade Adebayo Ojo Blessing, fondly called AOB by friends was elected as the new chairman, Barrister Natha-Alade Richarmond was elected as Vice – Chairman 1, Mrs Fransisca Esan – Marquis was elected as Vice- Chairman 2, while Comrade Oludayo Adejumo was elected as Secretary.

Other elected by members of the executive members are Comrade Taiwo Okunuga as Publicity Secretary, Akeredolu Tomisin as Assistant General Secretary, Oso Oluwafemi as Treasurer, Ogunkunle Oluyinka as Financial Secretar, Ibrahim Oladimeji Adebayo as Welfare Director, and Omoboriowo John was elected as Auditor.
In the same vein, Mr. Fowowe ‘Leye and Aluko Japhet were appointed by the Chairman as Director and Assistant Director of Protocols respectively.
The Chairman-Elect, Ojo, appreciated the Barr. Dayo Akinyemi-Borode led electoral committee for the conduct of the election. “I thank the National Executive Council of our association, led by Dr. ‘Dotun Adetunberu, and my Adorable Angel, my wife, Mrs. Adeola Adebayo, for their supports,” he said.
Ojo who also appreciated the campiagn council led by Comrade Afolabi Fakayode for their supports, however, enjoined members of the chapter to support the new administration and give their best, in participation.
The new executive members will serve in offices for a tenure of 4 years.
