An Ekiti chief, Asiwaju Ewe of Otun-Ekiti, Chief Kazeem Akande has felicitated the newly installed Olufon of Ifon, Osun state, Oba Peter Oluwole Akinyooye.
Akande through a congratulatory personally signed on Tuesday felicitated the newly installed monarch who is also the past president of Ibadan Tennis Club.
He stated that the installation of the past President, Ibadan Tennis Club will facilitate more development in the town.
Akande who is also the Chairman Oyo State Aquatic Association noted the newly installed monarch will use his experience to facilitate more development in Ifon town.
Recall that the Osun State government, on 7th February, announced the appointment of Prince Peter Oluwole Akinyooye as the new Olufon of Ifon, while he was presented to the staff of the office on Thursday.
The Ekiti chief in a copy of the message made available to Tribune Online stated “I’m congratulating the newly installed king of Ifon on behalf of my family, we prayed that your emergence as Olufon of Ifon will usher in good fortunes to the entire people of Ifon land.
“While we believe that your emergence will facilitate more development to the Ifon town and I pray God to bless your reign as the traditional ruler of the kingdom,” the statement reads.
