Ekiti Assembly passes N10bn supplementary budget

THE Ekiti State House of Assembly, on Thursday, approved the N10 billion supplementary budget requested of it by the state governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose.

The Assembly passed the supplementary appropriation at its sitting, said to have been presided by the Speaker, Kola Oluwawole.

The assembly had sat in camera, with sources saying that the sitting commenced at noon.

The sources also claimed that the sitting was attended allegedly by 14 of the 26 lawmakers of the house, and also claimed that the bill went through first and second readings.
