Ekiti APC youths laud Tinubu’s policies, initiatives

The All Progressives Congress Youth and Students Movement (APCYSM) Ekiti state chapter has commended the policies and initiatives of the administration of President Bola Tinubu targeting the youth population in the country.

The group explained that the numerous programmes across all sectors, especially the student loan scheme and the loans for MSMEs have been beneficial to the youth and student community, saying, “ his administration has demonstrated a strong commitment to empowering young people and creating opportunities for growth.”

The leader of the movement, Oluwaseun Ojo who spoke with newsmen in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital called on the youths to take advantage of the initiatives in empowering themselves and contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.

He said, “ From the distribution of CNG vehicles to states and institutions to the Nigerian Education Loan Fund(NELFUND) and micro-loans for MSMEs, worthy of note is the administration’s attempt at job creation through the proposed distribution of 2,000 CNG-powered tricycles to youths and students, the engagement of 93,731 skilled unemployed youth by the NDE.

“President Tinubu’s initiatives have provided significant support to young entrepreneurs and students.

“We are not unaware of the current economic realities that the economic policies of the renewed hope government has brought to us as a country, however we have our solace in the fact that these economic policies are important to retool and rejig our economy for shared prosperity and equal distribution of wealth.”

Ojo commended the administration of Biodun Oyebanji for his efforts at improving the education, health and infrastructural sectors in the state, adding that the youths and students would support his second term bid in the 2026.

“We commend the exceptional performance of Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s administration. His visionary leadership has propelled significant advancements in education, healthcare, infrastructure and economic development.

“The ongoing major road constructions projects, investments in agriculture , youth mobilization in agriculture and timely gratuity payments to pensioners are further testaments to his administration’s dedication to the welfare of Ekiti residents,” he said.

According to him, the group would galvanize and empower the youth population towards active participation in the electoral process for the betterment of the society.
