Ekiti 2022: PDP screens aspirants on Monday as Makarfi heads panel

The aspirants for the 2022 Ekiti State governorship election under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will undergo screening on Monday to determine their suitability for the contest.

Towards this, the party has constituted a screening committee to handle the task.

The members of the screening committee are, Sen. Ahmed Mohammed Makarfi, Chairman, Amb. Mrs. Fidelia A. Njeze, Mrs. Sarah Ochekpe, Arch. Rev. Benson Ezem and Chief Rahman Owokoniran (PDP southwest Zonal Secretary) as member/secretary.

The screening exercise has been scheduled to hold at the NWC Hall of the PDP national secretariat, Abuja at 10 am.

A statement issued by Kola Ologbondiyan, the party’s National Publicity Secretary Thursday advised all aspirants, critical stakeholders and members of the party in Ekiti State to be guided accordingly.
