Gombe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC) has announced the deployment of 900 personnel to ensure a hitch-free Eid-Fitr Sallah celebrations across the state.
The deployment was approved by the State Commandant, Gyama Gyawiya who charged the deployed 900 Officers and Men to be civil in the operation.
According to him, the deployment is aimed at securing worship grounds across the state as well as ensuring all worship places are fully secured for hitch-free worship.

The deployment is also aimed at ensuring traffic management by facilitating the free flow of traffic, controlling crowds at all celebration venues, and promoting interagency collaboration by working in synergy with other agencies to ensure a hitch-free celebration.
It is focused on protecting lives and property throughout the state, safeguarding critical national assets, including public and private infrastructure, and maintaining law and order before, during, and after the Sallah celebration.
Commandant Gyama Gyawiya extended his best wishes to all Muslim faithful and residents of Gombe State for a happy Sallah celebration.
