Eid-el-Fitr: Sustain peace, unity as Ramadan lessons — Zamfara APC

Zamfara State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has enjoined Muslims in the state to learn from the teachings of the Ramadan fasting, thereby sustaining peace, unity, honesty, sincerity, love and  fear of Allah.

In a statement issued on Tuesday evening in Gusau by APC publicity secretary, Yusuf Idris, said APC in Zamfara under the Chairmanship of Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, felicitates with the Muslim Ummah for the successful completion of the 1445 AH/2024 Ramadan fasting.

The statement reads in parts, “The party equally joins the Muslim Ummah in celebrating the Eid-El-Fitr while praying that Allah follows all the good prayers, preachings and steadfastness gone through during the Ramadan.

“We equally enjoin the Muslim faithful to continue to practice the teaching of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as contained in the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah.

“Ramadan lessons should be sustained for peace , unity, honesty, sincerity, love to one another and  fear of Allah in our dealings.” 

“We  encourage all Muslims to increase their prayers for the goodness, growth and development of the nation while maintaining a good and generous relationship with one another”.

“The party is sueing for  continued prayers for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his effort to return peace and economic growth in  Zamfara State and Nigeria in general. 

“We appreciate the party leaders for assisting party members, supporters, and executives with assorted foodstuffs and cash, the gesture  was extended to non-members and even other parties just to alleviate the hardship among the people of the state”, the statement added.
