It may seem a long journey to total recovery, but respite appears to have started trickling in for ailing media personality, Emma Ugolee who is currently down with a kidney related disease.

Ugolee who cried out for public help as he hopes to raise the much needed 50 million naira to conduct a kidney transplant surgery was blessed with one million naira on Friday, which was donated by Nigerian singer and performer, MC Galaxy, who visited Ugolee on his hospital bed.

According to Ugolee who said the journey to his total recovery was still a long one, “It has been a difficult moment for me and I appreciate every soul who God has used to donate money. I am staying strong for you all and I am sure I will bounce back very soon.”

Meanwhile, 2baba and Ali Baba have taken the ‘save the Ugolee campaign’ a step further as they both canvassed for more donations for the ailing presenter of popular TV programme, The Gist.

According to 2baba, “Ugolee needs our support. He can’t fight this battle alone. He needs the support of everybody to get out of this unfortunate situation. We appeal to all well-meaning Nigerians to please help our brother get back on his feet.”
