Efe Ronald Chesterfield moderates Young African Leaders Initiative event

Efe Ronald Chesterfield, an author and broadcast journalist, recently served as a moderator at a Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) event, engaging young leaders in discussions focused on entrepreneurship and leadership development. Chesterfield, known for his thought-provoking works such as “Comedy of Disgrace” and “Letters to Pearl,” has built a reputation for his insightful communication skills and commitment to youth empowerment.

The event brought together a diverse group of participants from various sectors, including government officials, entrepreneurs, and representatives from non-governmental organizations. Notable attendees include Oluwatoyin Ajilore (CEO, ONE Foundation, Seyi Adisa (Member, House of Reps, Oyo State), Ademola Aderinto (SA to Governor Seyi Makinde on Environment) Ife Solomon, (CEO, peppered Rice), Jennifer Foltz (Deputy Public Affairs Officer, US Consulate, Nigeria), who contributed valuable insights on leadership challenges and opportunities in Africa.

Chesterfield’s background as the founder of the Sublime Foundation for Africa, an NGO aimed at providing intellectual training to underprivileged students, further underscored his dedication to fostering leadership among the youth. His experience as a creative director for the documentary “Styles Defunct,” which was nominated for the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards in 2018, also highlighted his expertise in storytelling and media.

During the event, Chesterfield facilitated discussions on key topics such as sustainable entrepreneurship, innovation, and the role of young leaders in driving social change. His ability to connect with the audience and encourage open dialogue created an engaging atmosphere that resonated with participants.

As a poet and writer, Chesterfield has authored thousands of poems and hundreds of articles, reflecting his deep understanding of philosophical concepts and human experiences.
