Edo: Okpebholo commences dualisation of Ekpoma-Uromi-Ubiaja road

The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has commenced the dualisation of the Ekpoma-Uromi-Ubiaja Road, according to the state Commissioner for Information and Communication, Paul Ohonbamu.

Ohonbamu, who disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday in Benin, said the governor is committed to improving the standard of living of the people and bringing them happiness.

He assured residents of the state that Governor Okpebholo would fulfil their expectations, noting that the governor believes the primary purpose of governance is to bring joy to the people.

According to him, “the Governor Okpebholo-led administration has approved the dualization of the Ekpoma -Uromi-Ubiaja road.

“The massive construction going on across the state is beyond aesthetics and the reduction of traffic because there are also economic aspects, which are the reinvention of Commerce in the state.

“The Governor has promised to construct three flyover bridges in the state capital because he is determined to transform and modernize Edo State to a portable paradise,” he noted.

Ohonbamu, who expressed confidence that the people are becoming convinced of the governor’s capacity, stated that the administration’s five-point agenda is beginning to make a significant impact.

“The Governor is here to build a virile state with the project SHINE – Security, Health Care, Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Food sufficiency and Agriculture and Education.
