According to him, “It is with immense pleasure that I warmly congratulate our candidate in Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and indeed our great party for recording an emphatic victory.”

He stressed that this success is a clear validation of the people’s trust in the APC-led administration and further solidifies the party’s influence across Nigeria, reaffirming its position as the party trusted by the people to drive national growth and transformation.”.

The governor expressed confidence in Senator Okpebholo’s leadership capabilities, emphasising that his election represents an opportunity to rebuild and reposition Edo State towards sustainable development.

He called on members of the opposition to graciously accept the olive branch extended by the governor-elect, urging them to contribute positively to the future of Edo State.

The Governor prayed for the Edo governor-elect’s success as he embarks on his journey to deliver on his campaign promises, expressing hope that Almighty God would grant him the wisdom and strength to fulfil his mandate in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda, which seeks to uplift all Nigerians through progressive governance as contained in a statement by Ismaila Uba Misilli, Director-General
