Edo guber: Atiku youths organisation endorses Okpebholo

Barely 72 hours to the Edo State governorship election slated for September 21, the candidature of the All Progressives Congress (APC), flag bearer, Senator Monday Okpebholo, received a boost as he was endorsed by the Edo State chapter of the Atiku Youth Organization (AYO).
Announcing the endorsement at a press briefing in Benin City on Wednesday, the group, led by its Chairman, Faith Idemudia, said that the group endorsed Okpebholo “because he is a remarkable leader, with determination, sincerity and a clear vision for Edo State progress.
“His reputation and unwavering dedication to the development and welfare of Edo State’s citizens, has earned him the name “Akpakomiza”.
“As an home based politician, Senator is conversant with the nook and crannies of the state as well as the desire of the people. As an elected Senator he has demonstrated his dedication to serving his community.
“We do not need another imported Governor, we have just witnessed the awful performance of one over the last eight years, we do not need another one, and at such all Edo people must come out en masse on Saturday and vote Senator Monday Okpebholo for a new Edo state, with leaders like Senator Okpebholo, Edo State is poised for a brighter future.
“His commitment to serving the people and driving positive social change is inspiring and cannot be overemphasised” Idemudia said
.
According to him, “This endorsement is a significant boost to Okpebholo’s campaign, as the organization recognizes his commitment to serving the people and driving positive change.”
