Economy: Brotherhood Assembly youths to invest in agriculture

Published by

THE Brotherhood All Youth Assembly (BAYA), an umbrella body of all the youth organisations in the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS), has unveiled plans to introduce agricultural entrepreneurship into its framework, to train youths on contributing to improving the nation’s economy.

BCS spokesman, Christ Ambassador Edet Archibong, stated this while briefing newsmen on the forthcoming 2017 BAYA convention, with the theme Promoting Global Peace and Universal Brotherhood for Sustainable Development in the New Divine World Order, scheduled to hold from September 22 to 24 in Owerri.

According to him, the programme is targeted at ensuring that youths are gainfully engaged in positive and godly ventures, so that they will not become ready tools in the hands of evil people and enemies of the society.

He noted that if youths positively engaged, and  properly schooled in the ways of God, the ills plaguing society would be reduced.

“When this, along with other divinely conceptualised projects are replicated throughout the BCS world, we will be on our way towards achieving global peace and harmony,” he stated.
