Economic hardship: Nigeria is still cheaper than abroad- Fayose’s brother

The brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has weighed in on the prevailing economic challenges in Nigeria, arguing that despite the hardships, the cost of living in the country is still cheaper than in many foreign countries.

In a viral video, Mr Fayose pointed out that, although Nigeria is facing economic problems, living here is still more affordable than many places abroad.

He said, ” Nigeria is still cheaper than America, Uk , Australia, Canada. We are still cheaper.”

He cited the cost of basic goods and services and the exchange rate for prices abroad as aspects where Nigeria could be considered more economical.

He compared the price of Indomie noodles bought and the cost of transportation here in Nigeria with other foreign countries and concluded that Nigeria is still cheaper compared to other foreign countries.

He stated, ”We have problem, Yes! but we will get over it . Na our money spoil, our lives no spoil”
