In response to the video going viral on social media over the report exposing the antics of the embattled South Africa-based Nigerian pastor, Reverend Timothy Omotosho, who claimed he was former music director of the music icon, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, has set the record straight on his relationship with the cleric.
Speaking with R on Friday, the music legend revealed that Pastor Omotosho didn’t work with him directly as widely reported, adding that, “I know him to be a music genius and he used to work with my younger brother in Ibadan back then.
“He used to be in charge of music and musical instrument departments under my younger brother’s company, Obey Radio and Musical Instrument Company (ORMICO), and he was a music director when we started Decross ministry as a fellowship.”
He added that he never knew him with any ungodly act and that “whatever happens to Omotosho has nothing to do with my music career or my personality.”
R further learnt that Omotosho didn’t work for Obey Music, but served the fellowship centre even before the music icon became an evangelist.
It will be recalled that the 58-year-old senior pastor of the Jesus Dominion International Ministry, based in Durban, was recently arrested and allegedly charged with human trafficking and molesting more than 30 girls.
