The reasons include business, religious purposes, educational advancement and many more. In this connection, I want to use this opportunity to call on the authorities of the Ibarapa East Local Government in Oyo State to introduce tricycles to complement the transport services in Eruwa community, in order to save students from motorcyclists who often extort money from them.
Providing more tricycles in Eruwa community will benefit the Ibarapa Polytechnic students. It will reduce the monopolistic tendencies of motorbike riders.
The okada riders on campus have been using their monopolistic power to oppress the students. With the advent of tricycles, the transport charges would be drastically reduced.
