Early signs of diabetes

Kindly let me know some of the early signs of Diabetes that some people tend to overlook.

Aminu (by SMS)

One of the early warning signs of uncontrolled blood sugar (ie, type 2 or prediabetes) is getting up more than once during the night to urinate.

When you have high glucose, your body attempts to maintain homeostasis by flushing out the excess glucose via the kidneys. This not only produces extra urine but also contributes to dehydration. So, you urinate several times a night and drink water because you are thirsty. Many other signs, such as dry skin, can be overlooked or explained.

Is your sleep disturbed by your need to use the bathroom? If so, check your blood sugar before you go to bed. Then, take that information to your doctor for more details.
