2018 World Cup Qualifier: Super Eagles stars training in Uyo ahead of crucial Cameroon clash
AS reported in the media, the Nigerian Football Federation is planning Grade-A friendlies for the Super Eagles ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
Among the teams said to have been scheduled to face the Eagles are the Argentinian and German national teams.
If the plan sails through, this will no doubt go a long way in putting the team in a state of physical and mental readiness for the global football fiesta.
Both the German and Argentinian national sides are former World Cup winners. Currently, these teams are highly respected in the football world.
While Nigeria has faced Argentina in its previous outings at the World Cup, it is yet to face the German team.
A friendly match with the Germans will therefore provide a glimpse into what a potential tie between them and the Eagles could look like.
The NFF deserves commendation for the plan to prepare the Eagles well for Russia 2018.
