On the Muyiwa Bamgbose Academy ’s leadership training programmes, the EAC director said his support for the academy is hinged on the necessity to provide Nigerian youths leadership skills and knowledge, with integrity, honesty and Godly character.

“It is time Nigerian educational system was tailored towards value acquisition education that will give our youths pragmatic leadership experience in all ramifications.

“If Nigerian governments at all levels would subscribe to this educational vision, the development would go a long way to rid Nigerian politics of leaders without integrity, honesty and aptitude to build an egalitarian society,” he said.

Speaking at the event, the president, Junior Chamber International, Ibadan, Ambassador Kayode Adedayo, stated that JCI is a nonprofit organisation committed to creating impact in its immediate community.

According to him, JCI develops the skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and to take actions with a vision to complement the efforts of the state government to achieve its mission on the Sustainable Development Goals.

“Our success story is attributable to the state Commissioner for Education, Professor Niyi  Olowofela, and Pastor Bamgbose for their moral support,” he said.

The Commissioner for Education, Professor Niyi Olowofela, described the academy as a welcome development, saying the state government would continue to support private partnership effort that would promote quality education.
