Duru urges colleagues to think of life after music, want them to invest in real estate

Budding music star and real estate guru, Duru Francis Nnaemeka who is popularly known as Duru has urged musicians to invest their money wisely,  urging them to think of venturing into real estate while they keep securing endorsement deals and commanding huge following.

Duru who is a Nigerian born singer, songwriter and entrepreneur began his artistic journey in 2009 and has ever since been in the spotlight for his songs

Despite being popular and having a thriving career in music, Duru is also passionate about real estate consultancy. He is a specialist in property management, sales and development and passes for a top-tier realtor-cum-developer whose wealth of industry experience is better leveraged for the best choice of an apartment, commercial or agricultural land.

With Follow Me, Meal Ticket and Wayte as his recent music projects, Duru said he is still on the path towards self-actualization, having started making music at an early age and with his eyes fixed on conquering the Afrobeats scene and investing in real estate as his second address.

“I want my colleagues in the industry to start thinking about life during and after music by stepping into the real estate investment in a big way. I know many A-List artists who have embraced this opportunity and are better for it now”.

He added that “I’m on a journey and I’m not stopping till I’ve actualized my dreams. I’m a man on a mission, I’m determined to make my name known in the music industry because music has always been my passion,” he said.

Duru who describes himself as an Afro-fusion artist enthused that he has understood the Afro-fusion scene and is able to effortlessly deliver top-notch songs, having the ability to infuse a number of genres further adding that he is bent on becoming one of the sought after artistes in the industry.

“Being a versatile artiste  is one of the things that sets anyone apart in the world of music;  the ability to create their own unique style and sound that will draw attention to themselves. I can boldly say that  I’m a unique artiste who has been able to master the  art of  incorporating Afrobeat with trap music and that’s what makes me different from others”, he added.

The singer also noted that his decision to delve into real estate business has not affected his career in music as he has understood how to create a  balance between both ventures.

“As much as I am an artiste who is  making waves at the moment, I’m also a real estate consultant and I have been able to create a balance between both careers, so none  is affecting the other”, he noted
