Dunnisbridal plans big to promote sustainable fashion

The organisers of runway fashion show held in the heart of Lekki, Lagos by the Dunnisbridal described the event as multifaceted, aiming to boost the brand’s visibility, foster industry relationships, and promote sustainable fashion.

According to the CEO, Mrs Sukurat Oladunni, the event was a crucial step in positioning the brand as a leading player in the Nigerian fashion industry while celebrating cultural heritage and innovative designs.

The well-attended show featured evolving fashions and audience engagement.

Speaking about the event, Oladunni noted that she was highly impressed with the turnout adding, “The impressive turnout and positive reception at the runway fashion show exceeded our expectations. It validated our efforts and showcased the potential of Nigerian fashion on both local and global stages.”

She noted that the success of the event will no doubt motivate the brand to continue with its innovation and expansion plans.

She also hinted that one of the core goals of the brand is to support Nigerian youths as several initiatives to empower and uplift young talents in the fashion industry through internship opportunities, training programmes, and collaborating with local artisans, have been implemented.

“I mentor young designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support as they navigate their careers.

Through one-on-one mentorship, I aim to help them avoid common pitfalls and accelerate their professional growth.
