A topmost Lagos-based real estate company, Dukiya Investments, has announced its recent partnership with Bridging Education Gap Africa (BE-GA), an education-focused initiative, which might seem like an unexpected alliance, but for them is a conscious step towards a more profound purpose.
The Co-founder and Head of Strategy & Growth, Dukiya Investments, Mr Babatunde Bayo Lawal, in a recent interview with Tribune Online made this known, saying, “In the bustling world of real estate, where the language is often spoken in square feet and blueprints, Dukiya stands as a beacon of compassion, ready to redefine the narrative.
“At the core of our motive is giving back to society, we didn’t achieve our position by chance alone; we owe it to the support we received. This partnership is our way of paying it forward,” said the spokesperson.
He furthered explained that Dukiya recognises that their clients are not just investing in property; they are also investing in the future of underprivileged children in the community.
“The partnership extends beyond bricks and mortar; it weaves a narrative where property ownership dreams intertwine with the pursuit of quality education for those less fortunate.
“With BE-GA, we hope to reach deserving underprivileged communities,” states the spokesperson. “BE-GA’s diligence ensures that our support reaches those in dire need, making a meaningful impact.”
Also speaking, Dukiya’s co-founder and Head of Business and Growth also affirmed that in the realm of sustainability, Dukiya emphasizes a long-term commitment, stressing, “We aren’t just shaping communities for the short term; we’re in for the long haul.”
“The goal is clear – contribute to improving the quality of life in vulnerable communities and extend this support to other areas in need.”
“The synergy between Dukiya and BE-GA goes beyond the surface. While real estate may be their forte and charity not their primary focus, the common ground lies in putting smiles on faces.
“Our partnership ensures that as we build smiles for property owners, we also build smiles for children in underserved communities,” he further explained.
“Dukiya’s contribution to BE-GA’s projects isn’t merely tokenism. It’s a commitment backed by financial support and aid.
“It’s a promise to stand together, bridging the gap between property ownership dreams and the pursuit of education, creating a tapestry where compassion and community transformation go hand in hand.
“In this partnership, Dukiya isn’t just building structures; they’re constructing a legacy of empathy and progress—a testament to the belief that success is most meaningful when shared with those who need it the most,” he concluded.
