Talking of a commercially endowed entertainment city that gives you a repeated tour of the Dubai with a continue fascination at every point of call or activities tailored for your delight, it is always a moment of experiences.
Having been travelling to Dubai since 2010, the last three years, which I took a break and the brief stop at the airport for five hours during my trip to the world cup in Russia in May 2018, revealed a lot of changes has happened when plast visited.

No doubt Dubai has been home to many first that are amazing and still counting, but one in particular is the La Parle, a masterpiece aqua-stage theatre located right in the heart of Downtown Dubai, in the middle of Al Habtoor City, the marvelous multi-use development situated right off the world-famous Sheikh Zayed Road. A thriving city within itself, Al Habtoor City is home to the most luxurious restaurants and hotels.
La Parle is an entertainment masterpiece that keeps audience spell bound to what most people refer to as crazy entertainment because of the unbelievable stunt different performers invited from different part of the continent put up at the aqua-theatre ambiance.
A 90-minute multi-dimensional and highly serialized entertaining Dubai number one show, La Perle by Dragone is the region’s first permanent show located in the heart of Dubai at Al Habtoor City and brought to Dubai by Al Habtoor Group.
The show was created by legendary Artistic Director, Franco Dragone, famed for his work including Le Rêve in Las Vegas and The House of Dancing Water in Macau.
La Perle features a breathtaking fusion of immersive artistic performances, imagery and technology. La Perle is influenced by Dubai’s rich culture, vibrant present and aspirational future, which is brought to life by awe-inspiring stunts and special effects that leaves viewers speechless.
The electrifying performance makes audience feel embedded with the artists as the 270-degree seating provides a different perspective of the action unfolding in the tailor-made aqua theatre. Witness the stage flooded with water and drain in a matter of seconds as the artists perform mind-blowing aqua and aerial feats, such as diving from 25 metres high.
The first of its kind aqua theatre show holds 2.7 million litres of water, and magically transforms from dry to wet stage in an instant. Travelpulse&MICE witnessed waterfalls cascading down the walls, artists diving from an astonishing 25 metres into the on-stage circular pool at the middle of the theatre and a make real rain inside the theatre makes it looks as if one is at a natural ambiance.
This uniquely designed theatre creates a one-of-a-kind experience for audience members as each seat guarantees a magnificent view of the show. Prepare to be mesmerised as the fast-paced live show unfolds right in front of you with the performers diving into the pool on stage, flying through the theatre at spectacular heights and even defying gravity on motorbikes. The 1,300-seat theatre only contains 14 rows, which offers an intimate experience and gets you face-to-face with the action.
As one of a kind venue, it continued to keep audience enthralled from the beginning of the first sound of music to the display and unfolding actions that kept audience engrossed as every surface of the theatre becomes a screen, with 3D projections on the walls, floors and giant cyclorama.
The captivating sounds surround the stage by high definition speaks, which are embedded in the walls behind every seat and in the centre of the auditorium, this originality make every audience part of the entertainment experiences.
Sharing their pulses on a short documentary, some of the artists and innovators behind each inspired performance at the theatre spoke with candour about how passionately crazy the performances were, how the uphold the tempo of the ambiance to carry audience along.
For one of the gymnastic artists “I started gymnastics when I was five years and I see what I am doing on this stage as crazy but I enjoyed every moment of the performance.
Another said most people see their mind-blowing and crazy entertainment and display as madness, adding that the training was tedious but eventually it has become part of their live and they are passionate about it.
“For jumping from such a frightening is captivating and it has made La Parle by Dragone to become a global playground, it is inspiring yet madness.
One of the frontline drummers at the aqua theatre, a Columbia citizen confess, saying “My drum goes with every move on the stage, if the performers dance my drum dance and if they cry, my drum cry as well to make whole show perfect.
“La parle is an escape, it is captivating from the beginning to the end because every performance comes with a wow display.
“La Parle has to be 100 per cent at all time. We have 360 degrees projection at the same time all around.”
