DSS arrests Ifeanyi Uba

The operatives of the Nigeria’s Department of State Services (DSS) have arrested and detained Ifeanyi Ubah, the owner of Capital Oil.

The security agency is yet to make public its reason for arresting Uba.

However, Uba had been previously implicated in an alleged fraud with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), acusimg him of misaproprating funds from an illegal sale of crude oil.

The news of his arrest broke out early on Thursday morning.
