Doyinsola drops Rewind

Weeks back, when Nigeria’s afro pop female singer, Doyinsola broke the news of her new single that is set to rock the airwaves to her fans on her social media platforms, they were widely excited.

Many of her fans, who could not wait for her new song, took to her social media pages to demand the date for the release of the song with some of them wishing her success.

True to her promise, Doyinsola, coming back off the release of her smash hit single with Alapomeji hincho, 9ice, released her anticipated song, Rewind (Obi) on August 1, and seemed to have met the expectations of her waiting fans.

The song is a dance track asking the DJ to keep the song on rewind with a playful childhood game called OBI.

Speaking with R on what her new song has brought to her in less than two weeks, Doyinsola described the responses to her new project as massive, adding that nothing could compare to the love and support from her fans.

The fashion enthusiast, who launched her fashion line months back, hinted further that her career has assumed a new dimension that would put her music on the world map, even as she revealed that Rewind was just one of the many songs she had recorded to the delight of her fans.
