Dotman returns with Awe, pens US deal

Wave-making artiste, Olatunji Oladotun Alade, popularly known as Dotman now looks set to capture the hearts of music fans and rule the airwaves with a new single which he titles Awe.

His latest release comes just as the 808 Records artiste pens a new management deal with United States-based outfit, Blue Whale Entertainment owned by versatile Artiste and repertoire manager, Babatunde Peters. Dotman is known for his break-out hit songs Akube and My Woman released few years ago. His music career has continued to witness a steady rise since his breakout and has been in-demand on the international scene.

Produced by rising producer, Boys2shirts, the University of Lagos graduate waxes lyrical about how people become enemy of their progress by their own undoing. Awe is proving to be a fan favourite after an initial freestyle version went viral some weeks ago. It continues to gain steady traction following it’s official release few days ago.

“Awe is a letter to my fans and listeners,” Dotman explains and adds, “It is a song I made from a place of reflection about life. This is just a teaser of what is to come. All I can tell the world is to watch out for more sounds.”

According to Babatunde Peters, head-honcho of Blue Whale Entertainment, the new deal with Dotman will help unlock new opportunities. Peters whose experience dates back to managing late rapper Dagrin notes, “Dotman’s talent and ability is not in doubt and we are excited to help connect him with his numerous fans in North America. For instance, at one of his recent performances in Texas, the love from the fans was very massive and we are excited for the future.”
