The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has advised the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, not to bother contesting if he isn’t open for a coalition against the ruling party in 2027.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele told the former presidential candidate that President Tinubu is too much for any candidate to defeat alone, including Peter Obi.
He stated that if Obi believes he has the magic wand to pull the crowd together, it will be a total waste of money and a panacea for political destruction.
“If Peter Obi feels like he has the magic wand to pull the crowd together, he won’t be able to remove Tinubu, don’t waste your money at all if you don’t want to be politically miserable.
“It’s either you join a coalition or you don’t contest at all, Tinubu is too much for one person to remove from office, don’t waste money, instead use it to help the needy.”
Continuing, Primate Ayodele stated that Peter Obi is being deceived and will be disappointed even by his kinsmen, further reiterating the need for him to join forces with others.
“If you think you can stand alone to defeat Tinubu, you are joking. You can’t defeat Tinubu alone because a lot of people are even deceiving you. Don’t waste your energy because even the Igbos won’t be with you this time.
“People you believe are still supporting you will disappoint you, so you can’t afford to stand alone for anything at all.”
