‘It takes courage to be kind’. American memoirist, Maya Angelou defined it in simple terms the innate gift of Dollar Construction boss, Idowu Lamidi to connect with people at the right time of their needs.
Lamidi, brains behind the Dollar Estate stunned many in celebration of his birthday as he doled out gifts and cash to people to have a special and unforgettable Christmas celebrations.
Workers at his Aeroview Estate in Samonda, Ibadan got cars, motorcycles, and cash gifts with Lamidi claiming the deed was his little effort to appreciate hard work and loyalty.
Lamidi also extended his act of kindness to his hometown in Oyo, where he gave out cash gifts to over 500 people in Isale-Oyo.
The Empowerment Programme in Oyo marked the anniversary of the Oyo Progressive Forum, an association set up for the development of Oyo town and upliftment of the indigenes.
The programme was held at the LA Primary School, Oyo, and witnessed by Aare Isese of Oyo Empire, His Majesty Morakinyo Fatokun Jayeola, Hon Segun Akinrogun, Hon Abiola Abdulkareem, Hon Segun Ajiboye, and other prominent friends of Idowu Lamidi.
