Do more in alleviating Nigerians’ sufferings, Bauchi APC urges FG

The Bauchi State chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on the Federal Government to make further efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens, while citizens should pray for their leaders to deliver on their mandates.

This call was made through a communiqué issued at the end of a critical stakeholders meeting held in accordance with Article 12.9 of the APC Constitution 2022 (as amended).

While declaring support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, the stakeholders urged the Federal Government to urgently reembark on the Bauchi-Gombe Oil Project and complete it for the collective benefit of the area and the country as a whole.

The meeting was attended by a considerable number of stakeholders, all of whom signed the attendance sheet to demonstrate their agreement with the reasons for calling the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, which was duly constituted by members of the Bauchi State Executive Committee, a communiqué was issued and signed by Alh. Muhammad A. Hassan, Chairman of APC, Bauchi State.

The meeting unanimously declared support for Mr. President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his Renewed Hope Agenda, as well as his two ministers from Bauchi State, in delivering the mandate of the citizens of Nigeria.

The stakeholders further resolved to maintain peace and unity within APC Bauchi State for the collective progress and benefit of the people, particularly the members.

It was also agreed that the critical stakeholders’ meeting shall be held on a quarterly basis henceforth, with a commitment to discipline within the party against erring members at all levels, without fear or favour.

The communiqué also stated, “We recommend that all palliative allocations meant for Bauchi State be channelled through our elected/appointed members from Bauchi State.”

The stakeholders resolved that the party shall ensure justice, equity, and fairness for all at future congresses, primaries, and general elections, stressing that “We shall stand firm in support of all APC candidates in all future elections.”

Regarding the current hardship faced in the country, the stakeholders declared, “We call on the Federal Government to do something to alleviate the sufferings of the people.”
