Divorce: A contemporary social malaise

Published by

When you look at homes nowadays, most of them are broken. Some are shaking strongly and already tending towards divorce.

The reason for this is because today’s couples do not take time to look deeply and see how  far  they can cope with their partners with whom they have certain differences. They refuse to see their flaws before entering an eternal .

Again, a cause of a broken home might be because a partner was once too rich to be rejected, even when  their flaws were obvious even to the blunt.

Perhaps, eventually, the partner became broke and their flaws lay bare then hatred follows.

All the glittering is supposed to be put aside. The journey you are going into is a journey of eternal. The journey one undertakes alone. No one journeys with you.

Forget about the riches. Remember when he/she will not have a penny. Also remember the oath you took: “for richer and for poorer”.

Things should be done properly. There should be discipline, endurance, respect and so on.  With all these, believe it, divorce will be reduced and these will lead to a joyous generation.

Let’s unite once again. Oneness can only be acquired if families are loving and harmonized. A hope for a better Nigeria can rise once again. Together we can make the change. Together, we can stop divorce and make things different. Together, broken homes can be built again.
